Learning Log Week 3

MATH:  I reviewed some addition and subtraction.  For subtraction you have to have the biggest number on top.  I took my first quiz yesterday.  I got 100%.

LANGUAGE ARTS:  I practiced cursive and read a book called The Big Book of Why.  I learned why dogs noses are always wet.  Because scientists think that they lick their noses to keep them moist because it helps them smell better.

SCIENCE:  I went to Lake Tahoe.  There was a drought there and the water was really low.  We could walk out past the orange balls that tells the boats they're getting deep.  We could walk past the sign that said the boats can only go 5 miles per hour.  There was  a fire which I'm pretty sure was from dry lightening  it covered pretty much the whole lake.

GAME DESIGN:  I did not do game design this week because I was gone.  I am trying to figure out how to save my ping game as a file so I don't have to go into the program and run it I can just go in the file.

LEGO ROBOTICS:  I didn't do any lego robots because I was gone.  I'm excited to work on it next week.

Learning Log Week 2

MATH: I like to site outside with my brother to do my math sometimes. Sometimes it helps you think better when it's quiet. I learned that the answer to a subtraction question is called a difference.

LANGUAGE ARTS:  I did spelling I learned about vowel chunks. I did a magazine assignment where I chose some of my favorite magazines that I mite want to write about. one of my favorite magazines was a science one. I read 30 mins a day.

SCIENCE:   I learned that some blimps use helium to make them float. but the Germans used to put hydrogen witch can start o fire. One blimp started on fire and crashed. helium is what we use in balloons today.

LEGO ROBOTICS: Earlier I accidentally crashed my lego robot into the wall and the arm fell of. I haven't fixed it yet but I will.

GAME DESIGN:  I finished ping. I'm ready to make my next game :D.

Learning Log - Week 1 (2015)

MATH:  I learned about number patterns.  you have to find the pattern in them, sometimes it's hard. sometimes it will tell you to say the fifth number in it.  I also did odd and even numbers with big numbers.  I also did place value for numbers in the ten thousands.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I practiced spelling and writing.  I am reading some joke books.  one of the joke are, what is in December that's not in any other month?  The letter D. here's another joke.  What has four eyes and can't see?  The Mississippi.

I'm reading a journal about an alien that dressed up like a human. He asks some funny questions. one is why is toilet paper white?

SCIENCE: We did a experiment we had to look at stuff and see what they have in common.  that's how scientists put plants and animals in different kingdoms.

GAME DESIGN: For game design I finished my ping game.  I learned how to use fusion, it's pretty cool.

LEGO MINESTORM: I built my first lego minestorm there's a video and picture of it at the bottom. I added some stuff on it from the instructions like if it hits the wall it will go forward.

Learning Log Week 38

For math, Language arts and science I'm done for the year, but I'm still reading books and practicing cursive and multiplication.

For Minecraft I made gatorade.  I named it green apple gatorade.  I'm planning on making more gatorate.  I made Christmas armor.

For photography I turned in my end of the year art show assignment.  It's a picture of tulips.  I went to the tulips festival at the museum.

Learning Log Week 36

For Math I did k12 I got a rubiks cube and I learned how to solve it :D



MINECRAFT: For minecraft I have bee nworking on some of my mods. I love programing!


PHOTOGRAPHY: For photography I have been taking some pictures of my brothers. In the winter I plan to take pictures of a bubble that landed and didn't pop, then you can see the ice on it.

Learning Log Week 35

For Math I did k12 I am just finishing up Algebra for the year.

For Language Arts I did k12 I am going to go to the library and get some books to read.

For Science I did k12 I went to the tulip farm and learned about tulips.


MINECRAFT:For minecraft I am working on all of my mods. I go to tech talk and learn about some stuff that I didn't know about mods.

PHOTOGRAPHY:For photography I put my camera on a seting so it will talk more then one picture.
