Learning Log Week 11

MATH: For math I did a little bit of study island. I have been learning more about Roman numerals They start to get tricky.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am on chapter 6 of the second book of fablehaven. I liked the first one. I did spelling and writing also.

SCIENCE: For science I was learning about static electricity. We used a balloon to make foil move away from each other.

GAME DESIGN: For game design I finished my ice breakers game and i am working on the next assignment. Witch is to make your own game so I am making a basketball game.

LEGO ROBOTICS: For lego robotics I am trying to do the next assignment. It's to make a moving chair for a stuffed animal. I am trying to find out how to build my chair because there's no instructions.

Learning Log Week 10

MATH: For math I have been learning tips and tricks for multiplication. Like for something times 9 up to ten. and anything times 0 is 0.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am reading the second book of Fablehaven! I liked the first one. I am doing spelling and writing.

SCIENCE: For science we made a power source out of some pennies and tin foil and paper towels soaked in salt water.  It makes a battery when you hook it to a copper wire.

GAME DESIGN: For game design I finished my ice breakers game. I am now working on a whole new game for the next assignment.

LEGO ROBOTICS: For lego robotics I am fixing my robots arm. and I am trying to catch up on the assignments. I love robots!

learning log week 9

MATH: I am learning tricks for multiplication with 0, 1, and 2. For 0 it always equals o, for 1 it always equals the same number, for 2 it is just the number twice.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am at chapter 14 of fablehaven. I love it so far. I am doing spelling to.  I wrote 3 poems this week.

SCIENCE: I don't think we did science but I wrote down 5 observations. some of them are lizards like hot, when you look in a mirror your backwards, ect.

GAME DESIGN: I am working on my ice breakers game. I thing I am going to add some changes to my ping game.

LEGO ROBOTICS: I built a program off of the computer, and made it say some stuff like Minestrom.

Learning log week 8

MATH: I have been doing some multiplication. I am doing teaching text books.

LANGUAGE ARTS:I am reading a book called Fablehaven. My mom is reading tom sawyer to me.
I wrote a 300 word review for writing class. I wrote about redstone witch is in minecraft.

SCIENCE: We learned about the life cycle of flies. They can live for up to a month. I learned what insects do in the winter time. some lay eggs but then die but some hid in warm places.

GAME DESIGN: I am working on a quiz for game design. I am also still working on my ice breakers game.

LEGO ROBOTICS: I did the assignment become familiar with the lego robot. I also tried to fix the arm on my robot.

Learning log week 7

MATH: For math I have been adding and subtracting word problems. And I did a quiz well actually my second one. I have been rounding and estimating with three digit numbers.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am reading fablehaven. I am on chapter six. I like it so far. I did spelling to.

SCIENCE: We were rolling marbles do pipes and seeing how fast they went. We also were seeing if they kept going if they hit another marble.

GAME DESIGN: I am working on my ice breakers game. and i am making my own game . but i don't have a name for it yet.

LEGO ROBOTICS: I didn't do much for lego robotics. I need to look at the instructions to fix the robots arm.

Learning Log Week 6

MATH: I learned about adding fractions. It's hard at first but then you get the hang of it. I like adding fractions now.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am reading tom sawyer. I am doing spelling. for writing I was learning about verbs and not using to many adverbs.

SCIENCE: We use toy cars to smash bananas. We use GPE (gravitational potiential energy) to smash them.

GAME DESIGN: I am working on my ice breakers game. I like adding sound and animations.

LEGO ROBOTICS: I did the movie quiz. I am trying to fix the arm on my robot.

MATH: I have been adding and subtracting word problems. And addition and subtraction on paper.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am reading tom sawyer. I am also doing spelling. And also doing writing.

SCIENCE: I was weighing stuff with a slinky. And finding out the work of the stuff.

GAME DESIGN: I am working on my ice breakers game. I love game design.

LEGO ROBOTICS: I did the robot movie quiz. I liked the movie.
