Learning Log Week 1

MATH:For math I am doing aleks math. I like it more than last year.

LANGUAGE ARTS: For language arts I am doing writing spelling and reading.
Writing:For writing I wrote about a sea wasp. They are the most danger sea creature.
Spelling:For spelling we are learning that words that have the "C" sound in it you spell ch. We have ten words that have the "C" sound in it.
Reading:For reading i am reading the 3rd five kindoms book. I have the 4th when i read the last 200 pages.

SCIENCE:For science we found out if we can run faster than a dinosour. We had steps than a chart that would tell us.




3D ANIMATION:For 3D animation I am really enjoying it. I almost turned in an assignment for november 2nd.

SWIMMING:For swimming I learned how to tread water. I am also learning the butterfly.

Learning Log Week 37

MATH:I finished math.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts I finished my book. I finished spelling and writing.

SCIENCE:i Finished science.

GAME DESIGN:I finished game design.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i just need to do my last assignment. I try it but i need to change a few things.

Learning Log Week 36

MATH:For math i finished teaching text books (The math program i was using).

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i put some books on hold. i am also doing spelling.

SCIENCE:For science we learned more about seeds. mine have grown,

GAME DESIGN:I finished game design.

LEGO ROBOTICS:I am doing the last assignment today.

Learning Log 35

MATH:For math i am learning a lot about circles. I am also learning about word problems.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i finished the percy jackson series. I am also doing spelling and writing.

SCIENCE:For science we learned about seeds. we put some in a wet papper towel and in a bag and we are watching them turn to the sun.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i only have five assignments left and then i am done with the school year. I cant wait.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i am behind but i am going to catch up this week. I cant wait for summer.

Learning Log Week 34

MATH:For math i am learning about circles more. I am getting the hang of it.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i have been reading more percy jackson. I am also doing writing and spellig.

SCIENCE: We let our butterflies go.  They stayed on our fingers for awhile then we put them on our trees.  Our tadpoles haven't done much yet, but we're watching them.  We also learned about single cell organisms looking at them under a microscope.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i finished the amazon adventure game. I just have five more assignments

LEGO:For lego robotics i am behind but i am going to catch up before the school year is over. I am going to build a swing set for one of the assignments.

Learning Log Week 33

MATH:For math I have been learning about circles. I am also learning about area.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts I finished the 3rd percy jackson book. I am starting the 4th book. I am doing writing and spelling.

SCIENCE:For science we learned about space. we watched a science video about space.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i started my amazon adventure game. I am going to try to finish it fast.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i turned in an assignment for it. I made it move forward until it saw a black line.

Learning Log Week 32

MATH:  I've been learning a lot about division and multiplication and circles and how to count the radius.

LANGUAGE ARTS:  I've been reading a lot of Percy Jackson.  I finished the 3rd book.  I'm starting the 3rd Alchatrez book.  I finished putting my magazine together.  It has a Minecraft theme.  It has a lot of the writing I did this year in it.

SCIENCE:  We're learning about tadpoles and butterflies.  The tadpoles aren't doing much yet.  We're going to do the worksheets for the tadpoles and butterflies this week.  Yesterday our butterflies started hatching.  Some are still in their chrysalis and one is stuck.

GAME DESIGN: I'm almost all the way cought up on my assignments.  I turned in my Pest Busters game.  I'm starting a game called Amazon Adventure.

LEGO: I'm going to catch up on those assignments next this week.  I'm going to build a swing set and a carosel.

Learning Log Week 30-31

MATH:  I've been learning a lot about division lately. I learned how to do remainders which I didn't know how to do.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I'm reading the second Percy Jacson book and the second Alchatrez book.  I've been reading a lot.  I'm also doing writing.  I'm finishing up my magazine.

SCIENCE: We were changing the colors of plants by putting them in food color water.  Plants have four parts the roots, stems, leaves and flowers.


GAME DESIGN:  I've almost finished my pest busters game.  I'm going to finish it this week.

LEGO ROBOTICS: I'm going to change my lego robotic to a swing set and then a carosol.  I'm working on that this week.

Learning Log Week 29

MATH:  I did Teaching Textbooks.  I'm working on decimals and multiplication and division.

LANGUAGE ARTS:  I'm reading Alchatrez verses the Evil Librarians.  I like it.  I'm writing stuff to put together for my magazine.

SCIENCE:  I did some science on Brainpop.  We missed our normal science because we were sick this week.

GAME DESIGN:  I worked on catching up on some stuff.  I'm almost caught up.

LEGO ROBOTICS:  I need to catch up.  I'm starting to work on some stuff I need to turn in.

Learning Log 28

MATH:For math i am learning about fractions. I have been doing fractions for a while so i think we're going to learn something else next time.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i am almost done reading fablehaven for the second time. I am also going to start reading percy jackson again.

SCIENCE:For science we learned about plants and animals. We were looking at balls and fruit and trying to put them in the right group. Some of those groups are round, food, green, fuzzy, ect.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i am almost done with an assignment that is late. I need to catch up on game design.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i am going to make a swing set. I will make something else after i do the assignment.

Learning Log 27

MATH:For math i have been learning about word problems. I have been doing decimal word problems. They are hard at first but then they get easy.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i finished the first percy jackson book. I am also doing spelling and writing.

SCIENCE:For science we learned about DNA. We learned that everybody has different DNA.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i have been working on a game that is late. I am also still making a game but i don't know what it is called.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i am going to catch up because i noticed that i have a lot of assignments. I am also found out that there is an assignment to change your robot so i am going to wait for the assignment to change my robot.

Learning Log Week 26

MATH:For math i have been learning more about decimals. I can't wait until i learn something else but for now just decimals.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i am reading a new book i don't know how to spell the name though. I am also doing spelling and writing.

SCIENCE:For science we put something on different foods and see what color it changes. Two of them were red and the rest were black.

I also mixed glue and liquid starch and shaped it into a ball and it made a bouncy ball thing.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i am starting on a game that is late. I am a little bit behind on game design.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i am going to make a swing set robot. and i am also going to turn in an assignment for the swing set.

Learning Log Week 25

MATH: For math i am learning about decimals. I have learned a lot about decimals and fractions.

LANGUAGE ARTS: For language arts i am almost done with the third fablehaven book. I am also doing writing and spelling.

SCIENCE:For science i was dipping papers into the pen ink. After that night the papers were changing colors it was so cool.

GAME DESIGN: For game design i am working on my space ship game. I am almost done with it though.

LEGO ROBOTICS: For lego robotics i did a quiz and got eight out of ten. I am still thinking about changing my robot.

Learning Log Week 24

MATH:For math I have been learning about adding decimals. I have been having fun with decimals. There easy after you learn how to do them.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i am almost done with the second fablehaven book i cant find a different book to read so i am reading the books again. I am also doing spelling and writing.

SCIENCE:For science I learned about mixing things like water and oil don't mix. We also learned that if you mix the water with water it will mix.

GAME DESIGN:For game design I am almost done with my next game. I am also trying to find out what i want the name of my new game.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i did a quiz. i might change my robot so it looks different.

Learning Log Week 23

MATH:We have been learning more about decimals. We learned about adding decimals and subtracting decimals.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts we have been doing spelling and writing. I am also almost done with the first fablehaven book but i don't know if i am going to read the whole series again.

SCIENCE:For science we learned about acids and the PH scale. we also learned about acid rain and that it can burn down forests.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i am starting on my scrolling game. there is also a different game that i need to do.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i am going to start on the next assignment. i might change my robot to.

Learning Log Week 22

MATH:For math i have been learning more about decimals. i am also learning about fractions to. and how you can turn a decimal into a fraction.

LANGUAGE ARTS:For language arts i finished the fablehaven series. i am also doing writing and spelling.

SCIENCE:For science we did different reactions. like we combined baking soda and vinegar.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i am almost ready to start on the next game. i am also making a game for fun. i don't really have very many things about it planed yet.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i turned in an assignment. and i am thinking about changing my robot so it looks different.

Learning Log Week 21

MATH:For math I have been learning more about decimals. We learned that you can change decimals into fractions, and fractions into decimals.

LANGUAGE ARTS: For language arts I am almost done with the 5th fablehaven book. And am also doing spelling and writing. Fablehaven is a good series I recommend it.

SCIENCE:For science we went to the zoo. I went around the whole zoo. we learned a lot about animals.

GAME DESIGN:For game design i finished my alien attack game. I am going to start on my next game in a little bit. First I need one more assignment done.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics I am going to do the assignments that are past due. one of them is to program it to say and do different things which will be fun.

Learning Log Week 20

MATH:For math we have been learning a lot about decimals and fractions. They are kind of fun to do. There not my favorite thing but they are kind of fun.

LANGUAGE ARTS: For language arts i am almost done with the fourth book of fablehaven. I am also doing spelling and writing. for writing we are going to make a magazine sometime.

SCIENCE: For science we used marsh mellows and tooth picks to make molecules. I made some 3D shapes. my brother made a 3D house with them.

We also went to the dinosaur museum to see lots of dinosaur bones.

GAME DESIGN: For game design i almost finished my alien attack game. then i will do the next game witch should be a game where you can fly a ship.

LEGO ROBOTICS: For lego robotics i am going to work on the next assignment witch should be to program it to do things that it says on the assignment. I am also going to do the next one after that witch i have no idea what that is.

Learning Log 19 (Jan 11-15)

MATH:For math I am learning about decimals. I haven't learned much about them yet but if the number is on the right side it is less than one. And you can change a decimal to a fraction or a fraction to a decimal.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am reading the fourth book of Fablehaven. I am liking it so far. I am also doing spelling and writing.

SCIENCE:For science we learned about the Periodic Table. The top number shows how many protons there are in it. And the bottom number show the atomic weight. We learned that some of them are in are cereal.

LEGO ROBOTICS:For lego robotics i am going to do an assignment to program the robot to do certain things like, say things and then move or have if more than say something.

GAME DESIGN:For game design I almost finished my Alien Attack Game. I just need to add some effects and than it will be done.

Learning Log Week 16-18

MATH: I learned how to add with four digit numbers. I learned about fractions and we did something called times tales.

LANGUAGE ARTS: I am on chapter 15 of the 3rd book of Fablehaven. I did spelling and writing and cursive. I wrote a short story about minecraft for writing. It has about 800 words.

SCIENCE:  We learned about bacteria there's the most bacteria in the world then anything! They multiply fast. some bacteria is good for your stomach so you can digest food, but other bacteria makes you sick.
We did an experiment with my brothers and friends. A moving ball hit the cards so the baking soda would hit the vinegar which makes carbon dioxide and puts out the match.  Energy just transfers from one thing to another.

GAME DESIGN: I'm working on my alien attack game I finished my cat burglar game and I'm almost done with my alien attack game.  I'm all caught up.

LEGO ROBOTICS: My next assignment is to program my robot to do different things and say different things and stuff.  I drew a blueprint of my robot.
